Bio:
I was born in Washington D.C. and have been a life-long Virginia resident. I live in Loudoun County with my husband and three boys. We are a big baseball family, love adventuring outside, and exploring the many parks in our area. I have a mile- long travel bucket list I keep working toward crossing off. In the rare quiet moments in my life I love reading a good novel.

I serve as the Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EHDI) Advisory Committee Co-Chair; National CMV Foundation Community Alliance Chair: Virginia; Initiated, planned and executed the Strides 4 CMV 5k: Virginia for the last 2 years, raising over $15,000 for research, advocacy and education for the National CMV Foundation; presented in webinars and podcasts: (https://education.webmd.com/viewarticle/983642), (https://www.nationalcmv.org/resources/podcasts/podcast-episodes-(1)/meet-lisa-eickel), and facilitated National support group for CMV caregivers.
