Bio:
I was born and raised on a farm in a small rural community in eastern North Carolina. My family emphasized hard work and appreciating the contributions of farming communities to feed and provide for others. I am married to my best friend, Mark and we have two children Thomas and Leah. I enjoy outdoor recreation including hiking, snow skiing, swimming, water skiing and biking. Being raised on a farm, I learned to appreciate the benefits of sustainability and not wasting anything. As an adult I love to up-cycle second hand items such as furniture, clothing and home decor. I am huge podcast nerd!
