Medicaid Long Term Supports and Services Training (LTSS)
Overview
Develop a competency based, web-based, modular training for all pre-screeners for LTSS assessing the level of care of individuals who may qualify for nursing facility or HCBS in Virginia.
Major Activities
- Work with DMAS to develop training modules for community-based and hospital-based screeners of Medicaid Long Term Services and Supports
- Maintain robust e-learning training site and provide technical assistance to screeners taking the modules annually
Target Audience
Medicaid long term service coordinators in hospitals and local health/social service agencies.
