Overview

National Core Indicators (NCI) IDD surveys people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to learn about the home and community based services (HCBS) they receive and use in Virginia. The core indicators are measures used across states to learn about the outcomes of supports and services used by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and families. Indicators cover key areas of concern including employment, rights, service planning, community inclusion, choice, and health and safety.

NCI-IDD surveys are known nationally as a very important source of information about people with IDD.
