Personnel Preparation in Early Intervention
Overview
Provide family engagement training and family wisdom and conduct program evaluation for Project PIRR that prepares 10 EI/ECSE and social work students and/or EI and ECSE professionals and social workers serving children with significant disabilities and their families, including children with emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Major Activities
- Recruit parents who can provide wisdom and lived experiences through PIRR course work and 1:1 mentoring with students
- Conduct evaluation of Project PIRR

VCU PT, SW and SOE EC students
