Overview
The goal of Healing Narratives is to capture the experiences of people with IDD
Major Activities
- Partner with three community organizations that support adults with IDD
- Train organization liaisons and adults with IDD to communicate their stories about interactions with health care professionals by using art (photographs; drawings; paintings; poetry, etc.) and storytelling
- Share art and stories to build awareness of people's lived experiences
